The Federal High Court announces its 2026 Easter Vacation and Roster for VacationJudges. In accordance with a circular duly signed by the Honourable Chief Judge of the Federal High Court of Nigeria, Hon. JusticeJohn Terhemba Tsoho, KSS, OFR, FCIArb. (UK): The Court will commence its Easter Vacation for the year 2026 from Tuesday, the 7th of April, 2026, to Monday the 13th of April, 2026. This vacation schedule is issued pursuant to Order 46, Rule 4(c) of the Federal High Court (Civil Procedure) Rules, 2019 (asamended). Court sittings shall resume in all Judicial Divisions on Tuesday, 14th of April, 2026. During the vacation, the core Judicial Divisions. Abuja, Lagos, Port Harcourt, and Enugu will remain operational andaccessible to the litigating public only for cases of extreme urgency. Only matters pertaining to the enforcement of Fundamental Rights, the arrest or release of vessels, and issues of urgentNational importance shall be entertained by the Vacation Judges.
